The accomplished star braved the heat with a wide-brim straw hat, grey sweatshirt, and leggings before heading to the insтιтute, wheeling her belongings about.
The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for DeSalvo for comment.
DeSalvo has an exemplary acting career and now shares her wisdom with the next generation of actors at USC and the Lee Strasberg Insтιтute.
Hailing from Philadelphia, she made her Broadway debut at age 27 in a play set in South Philadelphia, Gemini.
‘Lucille Pompi, the character I play, contains a little of my Aunt Rosie, a little of old Mrs. C. up the street, a little of a lot of things from my own Italian upbringing,” she told the New York Times. ‘Most of the jewelry I wear in the show is my mother’s, and the gold shoes I have on in one scene were given to me by a woman from my neighborhood.

Before moving to Hollywood, she worked with Allen in his 1980 comedy film, Stardust Memories.
The duo forged a friendship that continued years later.
‘That guy is, like, the best,’ she told the LA Times. ‘When I met him we laughed for 20 minutes. I wrote him recently about ‘New York Stories.’ I didn’t expect to hear from him and he writes me back within five days. That says a lot about somebody.’
She is now an Adjunct Professor at USC’s Film School and is a faculty member at Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Insтιтute.
